Super Smash Bros Amended gameplay

The use of items will be restricted to a very low appearance rate and only simple projectiles and HP regen items will be made available (ie motion sensor bombs, bob-ombs, shells, maxim tomatoes, and hearts).

Level selection will be randomly selected using the computer's algorithm. Yoshi's island is restricted from this due to frame-rate latency issues. In the instance the computer selects this stage that game will promptly be reset to another level.

Spamming the normal attack button (in other words, pressing the A button repeatedly and without mercy) is restricted. You will be allowed to execute the technique for only five full seconds. (This allows roughly six of mario or luigi's fireballs and a fair number of either link's sword swipes or kirby's chun-li style punches).

The style will be free-for-all with a five minute time limit. Regulations on ledge guarding will be monitored and enforced during two and three player matches. Ledge guarding is permitted during four player matches.

The winner will always "stay on the sticks" (continue playing) through to the next game. In the event of four player matches the second place victor will also stay on the sticks. All others must yield the controller to a new player waiting to get in the game.
